The Mechanic's Bag in Waxed Canvas is designed and built like the tool kits often found on early vehicles when mechanical ability was essential to keep your auto running. Crafted from 18oz natural cotton duck canvas that has been dyed colorfast and treated with original Martexin™ water-repellent wax, this American-made heritage tool bag combines vintage design with superior weather protection.
A large brass zipper with 2-way pulls opens into the main compartment, while eight gusseted side pockets stand ready for a variety of small utensils, tools, or kits. Brass rivets secure bridle leather handles on reinforced cotton webbing, and all seams are taped and double-stitched for long-wearing service. The bottom is constructed of two layers of 18oz cotton duck for exceptional durability.
The design, materials, and craftsmanship in this bag will survive a lifetime of rugged use. Tough enough for commercial use, this attractive bag suits a variety of applications: game bag, yacht bag, crafts organizer, trainer's kit, specialty tool kit, or handsome car trunk organizer.

Caring for Martexin™ Original Wax Duck Canvas
Martexin Original Wax Duck Canvas is a highly specialized textile that precludes normal cleaning. Just as you wouldn't wash a leather product, such as shoes, gloves, or jackets, you shouldn't machine wash or dry clean your wax duck product. Wax fabrics have been successfully used for many years without washing.
- Clean with a hose and damp cloth as needed
- Do not machine wash or dry clean
- Allow to air dry completely before storage
- Condition bridle leather handles periodically with leather conditioner
- Store in a cool, dry place when not in use
- Brass hardware will develop natural patina over time
- Wax finish provides water repellency and develops character with use
