1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Parrott Canvas Co., LLC ("Parrott Canvas," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website at https://www.parrottcanvas.com/ or https://www.parrottcanvas.net/ (the "Site"), placing an order, or purchasing any products, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Site or purchase our products.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Site with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order on our Site. By using our Site, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. If you are under 18, you may use our Site only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Products and Services

Parrott Canvas Co. offers a range of goods for travel, work, home, and everyday use made from quality and durable materials including duck canvas, leather, and suede. Rooted in American heritage, we craft refined canvas goods that reflect a deep connection to nature and artistry. Each piece embodies a discerning approach, celebrating the beauty of earthy tones from our home in North Carolina.

Product Descriptions

We strive to provide accurate product descriptions, images, and specifications. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, images, colors, or other content on the Site are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. Product colors may vary slightly due to monitor settings and photography. If a product received is materially different from its description, please contact us within 30 days of receipt.

Monogramming and Customization

We offer monogramming and personalization services on select products. Please review your customization details carefully before submitting your order, as monogrammed and personalized items cannot be returned unless there is an error on our part. By submitting a monogramming order, you confirm that all spelling, fonts, thread colors, and placement specifications are correct.

4. Ordering and Order Acceptance

Order Placement

When you place an order through our Site, you are making an offer to purchase products subject to these Terms. All orders are subject to acceptance by Parrott Canvas Co.

Order Confirmation

You will receive an automated email confirming receipt of your order. This confirmation email does NOT constitute our acceptance of your order—it is merely an acknowledgment that we received your order. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Product availability
  • Errors in product or pricing information
  • Suspected fraudulent activity
  • Credit card or payment issues
  • Inability to fulfill customization requests

Your order is accepted when we ship your products and send you a shipping confirmation email. If we cannot fulfill your order, we will notify you and will not charge your payment method.

Order Modifications and Cancellations

Once an order is placed, we begin processing it immediately. If you need to modify or cancel your order, please contact us at customerservice@parrottcanvas.net or call 800-348-9694 as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee modifications or cancellations once an order has been processed or shipped. Orders for monogrammed or personalized items cannot be modified or canceled once production has begun.

5. Pricing and Payment

Prices

All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice. The price you pay is the price displayed on the Site at the time you place your order, subject to the Typographical Errors provision below. Prices do not include shipping costs or applicable taxes, which will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover
  • Debit Cards

All payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments. We do not store your complete credit card information on our servers.

Payment Authorization

By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are legally authorized to use the payment method
  • The information you provide is accurate and complete
  • Charges may be billed to your payment method

Please ensure your billing address and phone number match the information on file with your credit card issuer. Incorrect information may delay processing of your order.

Payment Timing

Your payment method will be charged when your order ships. For orders with multiple shipments, you will only be charged for the items included in each shipment.

Typographical Errors

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error, error in pricing information, or system malfunction, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price. This applies whether or not your order has been confirmed and your payment method has been charged. If your payment method has already been charged and your order is canceled due to a pricing error, we will immediately issue a full refund to your payment method.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping Methods and Timeframes

We ship orders to addresses within the United States only. We offer the following shipping options:

  • Standard Shipping: Allow 5-10 business days for delivery after your order ships
  • Rush Shipping: Allow 3-5 business days for delivery after your order ships

Processing time is additional and varies by product type. Standard items typically ship within 1-3 business days. Monogrammed and customized items may require additional processing time.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of your order, shipping method selected, and destination address. Shipping charges will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. You can track your package using the carrier's tracking system.

Delivery Issues

We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather conditions, natural disasters, or other events beyond our control. If your package is lost or damaged during shipping, please contact us at customerservice@parrottcanvas.net within 7 days of the expected delivery date, and we will work with the carrier to resolve the issue.

Please ensure your shipping address is accurate and complete. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. Address changes after an order has shipped must be arranged directly with the shipping carrier.

Multiple Product Orders

For orders containing multiple products, we will make every attempt to ship all items together. If products are unavailable at the time of shipping, they will be shipped separately as they become available, unless you instruct us otherwise. You will only be charged for products included in each shipment, plus applicable shipping charges. The full shipping charge quoted at checkout may be applied to the first shipment.

7. Returns and Refunds

Return Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. You may return any non-monogrammed item within 30 days of our ship date for a refund or exchange, provided the merchandise is unused and in its original condition with all original tags and packaging.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Monogrammed or personalized items (unless there was an error on our part)
  • Items that show signs of use, wear, or damage
  • Items without original tags or packaging
  • Sale or clearance items (unless defective)

Defective or Incorrect Items

We stand behind the quality of our products. If you receive a defective item due to manufacturing defects or workmanship issues, or if we shipped you the wrong item, we will gladly accept the return within 30 days of the ship date for a full refund or replacement. Please contact us at customerservice@parrottcanvas.net with your order number and photos of the defect or error.

How to Return an Item

To return an item:

  1. Contact us at customerservice@parrottcanvas.net or call 800-348-9694 to initiate your return
  2. Include a note with your return detailing whether you would like a refund or exchange
  3. Pack the item securely with your original packing slip
  4. Ship the return to: Parrott Canvas Co. - Returns, 508 West 14th Street, Greenville, NC 27834
  5. Prepay shipping costs and insure your return package (we recommend using a trackable shipping method)

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (defective product or wrong item shipped). We recommend using a trackable shipping method and purchasing shipping insurance, as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.

Return Authorization for Corporate, Organizations, and Resellers

If you are a corporate customer, organization, or reseller, you must obtain a return authorization number before returning any items. Please contact us at customerservice@parrottcanvas.net to request authorization.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund within 5-7 business days. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Exchanges

To exchange an item for a different size, color, or product, please follow our return policy and place a new order for the item you would like. We will process a refund for the returned item once we receive it.

8. Taxes

Parrott Canvas Co. will automatically charge and collect applicable sales tax for orders shipped to addresses within North Carolina. For orders shipped to other states, you may be responsible for use taxes or other taxes imposed by your state or local jurisdiction. You agree to pay any such taxes if applicable.

9. Intellectual Property

Copyright and Trademarks

All content on this Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, product descriptions, photographs, designs, and software, is the exclusive property of Parrott Canvas Co., LLC or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The Parrott Canvas Co. name, logo, and all related names, designs, and slogans are trademarks or registered trademarks of Parrott Canvas Co., LLC. You may not use, copy, reproduce, or distribute any of our trademarks without our prior written permission.

Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site solely for personal, non-commercial purposes, such as browsing products and placing orders. You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Site
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access or collect data from the Site
  • Frame or mirror any portion of the Site
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Site
  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PARROTT CANVAS CO., LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • YOUR ACCESS TO, USE OF, OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SITE OR PRODUCTS
  • ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF THIRD PARTIES ON THE SITE
  • UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR CONTENT OR INFORMATION

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES, LOSSES, AND CAUSES OF ACTION EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE PRODUCT(S) THAT ARE THE SUBJECT OF THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Parrott Canvas Co., LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and service providers from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
  • Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations

13. Disclaimers

Product Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our products and will replace or refund defective items within 30 days of purchase. Beyond this period, products are sold "as is" without any express or implied warranties.

Website Disclaimer

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, PRODUCTS, AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

14. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

Governing Law

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms, the Site, or any products purchased shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Jurisdiction and Venue

Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pitt County, North Carolina. You consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts and waive any objection to such jurisdiction or venue.

Informal Resolution

If you have a dispute with us, we encourage you to contact us first at customerservice@parrottcanvas.net or 800-348-9694 to attempt to resolve the matter informally before pursuing formal legal action.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies or agreements referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Parrott Canvas Co., LLC regarding your use of the Site and purchase of products. These Terms supersede any prior agreements, understandings, or communications, whether written or oral. Any terms or conditions you include with any purchase order or other document shall have no effect and are hereby rejected.

17. Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Parrott Canvas Co.
